We only accept quality scanned images for inclusion on our site. Please take the time to remove any age spots and reduce yellowing of the images you submit. You must include the copyright page for books with your submission or site a source for proof of copyright expiration and public domain status. We carefully review each application received. You may apply to become a member by registering and uploading your first files. If they are approved, you will see them on your personal account. If they are not selected for inclusion in the database, you will be notified via email.

For each transaction, the submitter receives $0.25 per credit.

Any submitter may request to be paid for his/her sales on BiblioPics.com site as soon as the balance has reached $25 and the submitter sends a payment request from the Submitters tab. We currently only send payments via PayPal.

NOTE:
Web Resolution: Images scanned at 150 DPI or less or 300 DPI images with an area less than 1.5" x 1.5".
Print Resolution: Images scanned at 300 DPI with an area greater than 1.5" x 1.5".
Poster Resolution: Images scanned at 300 DPI with an area greater than 11" x 8".

Your first step in selling images is to register, which you can do for free on the Register Page. Then go to the Upload Images option, under the Submitters tab. Before uploading a file you must make sure the following criteria are met:

» Scanned images must be copyright free and preferably from a vintage source (poster, postcards, book, magazine, newspaper, etc)

» Images must be scanned at 300 DPI for Print Resolution and Poster Resolution images

» Images must be saved at the highest JPG quality

» Crop all images to as small a size as possible. Images with to much white space on the edges will be rejected.

» Remove caption text from images.

» Check the image carefully for copyright issues, ESPECIALLY TRADEMARKS - anything that is label, logo, characters from cartoons or movies may be trademarked and are protected and are not accepted.

» Do not upload offensive content like explicit nudes, drugs, people in offensive positions, racism

» Add a relevant description to your image. It must be more than one word and explain the image. If the source is a book about India printed in 1900 and the image is of a man sitting on an elephant a good short description is: India 1900 Man on Elephant

» Include at least one useful tag.

» Do not write the image name and description in capital letters
